Having studied the body and mind through a lifelong journey of dance, yoga and meditation, I love to help my students recognize and realign both their postures and their hearts. How to use their breath to calm the central nervous system and stretch, lengthen and strengthen their bodies . My aim is to guide each student to find safety,  harness the courage to both recognize and allow for their limits and find success within their present capacity, regardless of their skill level, their ability and their age. 

​

I am blessed to teach my students how to build strength and flexibility in their bodies as well as their hearts and minds. 

To teach all walks of life. To guide athletes as well as those who have the courage to heal from trauma, and accidents and head injuries and be given the presence of grace, the living breathing God on their yoga mats.

 

Holy Yoga  has allowed me to strengthen and align my body, release anxiety from my mind,  and bring me more intimately in the presence of our loving lord. 

 

I have been a widow for almost 5 years and although I have been practicing Yoga for decades, practicing and teaching Holy Yoga has literally transformed my heart, and my life in ways I could have never imagined. I know that I am a work in progress. I recognize that I am far from perfect and continue to struggle with anxiety at times. However, now I have a peace on me now that transcends understanding and rescues me on a daily basis from myself.

Trauma Sensitive Restorative Stretch & Holy Yoga

Breath to movement stretches, motivated by His word, worship music and prayer. Come experience His abundant love, enduring strength and powerful presence and grace.

Please be prepared with comfortable stretchy or fitness clothing and a sports mat.

WHY HOLY YOGA

My passion is to share how to live in intimacy with our living God on and off the mat.  As we move and flow between breath and movement, and motivated by His word, we experience His abundant love, enduring strength and powerful presence. 

 

When we quiet our minds from the daily noise, and find peace in worshiping with our whole being - body, mind, hearts and soul- we get to experience the Fullness of the Lord in his magnificent glory.

 

 

  • We rely on his powerful love and presence to inform our present. 

  • We release and surrender our chronic holding patterns.

  • We find freedom in and through breath and movement.

  • We gently strengthen our bodies and our minds.

  • We surrender our thoughts.

  • We release striving, and doing on our own strength. 

  • We are reminded from breath to breath, to sink in, get quiet, find stillness and listen. 

  • We calm our central nervous system long enough to bring a full rest to our busy minds, our tired bodies and our poured out hearts. 

About My Faith

Although I am just scratching the surface of His abundant grace I am faithful to recognize that the Lord has: 

 

RESCUED me from my self-centered, victim mindset, 

 

TRANSFORMED my heart of stone to a heart of flesh,

 

BLESSED me with beautiful friendships and the ministry of reconciliation with family members,

​

INFUSED me with insight  and wisdom through His Word,

​

RENEWED my outlook on life, 

​

RESTORED my unbelief, and graces me daily with Faith

​

DELIVERED me on his true promises of lavished Grace by giving me on a daily basis the mercy needed to begin a new day with Joy, Gentleness and Peace.'
